What's your favorite cheeses for the summertime? This may or may not be related to me saying "I haven't been to the book store in a while."
Ohhh, this is a quality question. I think my two favorites, based on my consumption patterns from the last two summers, are feta and manchego. Yummy salty cheeses that taste good with fruit and cold wine. Thin little triangles of manchego on thin crackers with some sort of fruit paste or jam or whatever. I don’t care how many times I see watermelon and feta at a picnic, I’ll eat it every time. Every DAY. I even like the salty water that good feta is stored in. I wouldn’t drink it (or would I? maybe it would be good post-run?) but I definitely lick it off my fingers. (Over the sink. I’m not an animal.)
I think I might actually be looking forward to summer now! That never happens. Well done you.
