The best thing I read last week was Cloud Atlas. It is not really fair to the other books I read last week. I sort of knew it was going to win, so I purposefully put off finishing a couple of books until this week to give them a fighting chance.
Anyway, believe the hype. (Aside from my one quibble with the depth of detail in some of the sections not being consistent with the type of artifact that is supposedly the structure of a few of the sections. But other than that.) Highly recommended.
